Nice quality wood panels with an oil ground that takes paint well after a very light sanding (300 grit) seems like a very good product.

This was my first time painting on your panels (3 oil and 1 watercolor). Also, my first time painting with oil since college in 1983, and first time ever completing an actual watercolor composition (except as a little kid, lol). These panels were a good value for the cost; good quality, solid, thick, panel, nicely made and well prepared for the media I used. Very easy to use, nice smallish size, and being a beginner level, I was somewhat abusing the surface. My 2 shipments arrived lightning fast, also. This was a fun process & got me started with something I wanted to do in retirement.

I learned about Trekell panels when I came across the pet portrait contest. I thought I'd try it, and I was glad I did. The oil surface is lovely and accepted my oils so well. Great product!
