Gamblin Oil Painting Ground is not only safe to use, but brings out the best of your oil paints. Due to its “closed” surface, it adheres to oils instead of penetrating them, forming physical (mechanical) and molecular (chemical) bonds, improving paint adhesion and intensifying color saturation.

• 1/4" Thick Baltic Birch - B/BB Grade / Highest Quality
• Sealed with Golden GAC100
• Primed with 4 coats of Gamblin Oil Ground
• Light texture
• Ideal for Oil Paint

*Please be advised that Oil Ground darkens/yellows in the absence of light. Leaving your panel in natural light for a few hours will reverse the yellowing.*
