Drying to a velvet matte finish; Holbein Acryla Gouache does not shift in color tone from liquid to dry color. What you see wet is what you get once dry.

Holbein Acryla Gouache does not have the same fragile surface as traditional gouache in gum arabic and is compatible with all other water soluble media regardless of origin. An ideal medium for hobbyist and bird carvers as well.

My favorite gouche!

I love these! They have a lot of properties of acrylic paints which I love for layering since they do dry down and can't be reactivated. I also love that I can just use water with these and there is no under-binding. The color selection is fabulous and they are really pigmented!

Holbein Gouache

Amazing! A little goes a long way . I still need a little more practice with the medium yet the paints were really pigmented and they dry matte. I definitely see myself spending my collection .
