United StatesThese are good quality panels. Fine to paint on straight out of the package, but I found adding another thin layer of gesso gave a little more texture, which I preferred to work on. Will definitely buy more of these panels down the road.
United StatesThe panels were used for a 30 day painting challenge. I loved the strength and the finish of the panels so much I will return for more panels even when not on the challenge. I am looking now at Trekell for other supplies.

United StatesI am doing the 31 days of January Art Challenge with Trekell, and I wanted to have all my supplies ready from day 1. It's so interesting how Karma works. I signed up close to the deadline, and the boards arrived in my mailbox the day before the event! December 31st! Isn't that a wonderful way to start anything? I take is as a sign from God, and this beautiful Earth that I owe it to myself to accept this demanding challenge, and to get positivity from it. Art is life!!! Life is beautiful! I love each and every 8 x 10" board. Each one comes with a cardboard to seperate my artworks. So far I have managed to paint one complete painting every single day onto these birch boards. They need 2 coats of paint, if you paint on the thin side with a brush, the way that I do. These are quality grounds, and I will highly recommend them to anyone and everyone who cares to know!! Thank you!!!!
