Watercolor Ground Wood Panel - 1/4" Baltic Birch
DESCRIPTION
Trekell’s Watercolor Ground Wood Panel - 1/4" Baltic Birch Panels are made from prime Baltic birch. The panel’s front is sealed with Golden GAC100 and has been primed with three coats of a special watercolor ground. The fluid acrylic primer applied to this panel creates a porous surface similar to cold press paper. It dries to an absorbent, lightfast, and flexible surface that withstands repeated lifting and scrubbing. Suitable for a full range of watercolor techniques, including washing and staining, it can also be used to return stained areas to an absorbent white surface.

I really enjoyed painting on the panel. Paint sticks well where placed, nice, flat, lightweight. Affordable. No need to frame.
