The Unprimed panel is perfect from start to finish. In my experience these panels take about four layers of gesso and a light sanding for a perfect and smooth painting surface. The wood panels surface amplify every brush stroke and make every brush even more fun to use.

I haven’t used it quite yet but I used the triage shaped panel that is similar. They are very beautiful and sturdy and the materials glide on the surface smoothly.
