Gamblin Oil Painting Ground is not only safe to use, but brings out the best of your oil paints. Due to its “closed” surface, it adheres to oils instead of penetrating them, forming physical (mechanical) and molecular (chemical) bonds, improving paint adhesion and intensifying color saturation.

United StatesI have really enjoyed these panels
I have been looking for a new panel to paint regularly. I've been pleased with this panel; it is one of the tops of my list to become my new favorite panels. I'm trying a few more options with Trekell. These are high quality and lovely to paint on with just enough tooth to hold the paint. I'm used to a smoother surface, but this experience was a positive one. I'm pleased with the quality. I really like the nice touch Trekell adding a label to affix to the back.

United StatesMy favorite panels
Love the surface for oil painting as I paint detailed images and really like a smooth surface. Better for paint application than the gessoed surfaces I have tried in the past. Wish you carried larger sizes but I know they can warp.
