Love these brushes
It has been great using Trekell brushes!!! I have been using them for years now and love their product. I also have recently started using the brush restorer which has allowed me to keep them in great shape

Opal long filberts are my workhorse!
These are my favorite brushes for oil paint! They have the perfect amount of firmness and snap to handle everything from think paint applications to soft glazes. I use these for every painting I do in the first 2 layers . They are my workhorse brushes! Trekell brushes are always well made and backed with great customer service.

Trekel Opal Synthetic Hog Bristle Art Brushes for Oil
These work very well for wet in wet oil painting. Paint transfer is very predictable. The brush handles deep and flat front and side strokes and both push and pull stoke directions. Cleanup is easy in soap and hot water. No bristle flare or ferrul build up after cleaning.

Opal long filbert!
As always I am very happy with my purchase! The opal line is my favorite to use for initial layers of oil paintings. They can lay nice thin layers or thicker textured strokes. These are one of the few brush types I could happily use throughout an entire painting if I needed to. They clean easily and last long, not to mention I’ve never had one shed a single bristle. I highly recommend these to anyone and will continue to buy more.

The Opal Brushes have been excellent for me - they retain shape, have enough flexibility and create the marks i am trying to make - i would have to say my favorite!
