Ever since I first received a panel from Trekell I’ve had a torrid love affair with collecting and caressing their smooth sultry surfaces with my creative endeavors. This is my third raw wood panel I’ve used for gouache and I love it! I don’t prime them first with gesso, Instead I put a light wash of white acryla gouache down and then proceed with normal gouache. It adds a nice texture to the painting in the end.
