Spectrum bristles are soft, responsive, and incredibly smooth, allowing you to create clean blends and minimize visible brush strokes across a variety of mediums. If you were to look at the filaments under a microscope, you would see a completely smooth surface with no divets. This smoothness allows paint to glide evenly off the brush, helping you lay down color without leaving unwanted brush marks.
Each brush is made with our Thermyx™ filament. When these brushes are made, the bristles are shaped and heat set into their form, creating a built in memory that helps the brush maintain its shape and performance over time.
If the bristles begin to lose their form, a quick dip in simmering water can help bring them back closer to their original shape. For best results, reshape the bristles while warm and allow them to dry in place. Using Trekell Brush Restorer at this stage will help the bristles dry more firmly and hold their shape longer.
The 10 inch long handle is balanced for both control and movement, giving you the flexibility to work with precision or loosen up your strokes when needed.
