unexpected pleasure
I had received one as a free gift for an order I had put in. To be frank, I did not expect much. Im really picky about my watercolor brushes and have been using the same brand for 20 years. I loved these. Not only were they better than my my old brushes but it was better than any I had tried before. I came back here to pick up a full set that will now be my dedicated studio set. My old belverd set is getting down graded to my teaching/travelling set.

Great brush
Sharp point. Holds more paint than the 2/0 that I have. Overall the Trekell protege plus brushes are the bomb. I usually use Escoda or Raphael Kolinsky brushes for watercolor painting but I think I like the Trekell brushes better.

these brushes are great!
great point. holds a lot of water and paint. doesn't seem to tear up my watercolor paper (Arches 300#), which is usually an issue for synthetic brushes. I am very happy with these brushes. They are a little pricey for what they are. hopefully I won't have to replace them soon.
