Medium of Choice: Gouache and Graphite Wash

"I discovered Trekell online well over a decade ago and was fortunate enough to meet the team while vending at Designer Con in Pasadena, CA. I enjoyed chatting with Courtney and the artists while stocking up on my favorite brushes and panels. From that point on I was impressed with the professionalism of the team, the tools, and the community Trekell had created. I immediately fell in love with the quality of their brushes; they felt like luxury while also being versatile and affordable. After years of use and abuse, the quality of the brush tips forever holds up. I work with a variety of mediums, and Trekell has been the one true brand that can withstand them all. After being a fan for so many years, I’m honored to be a part of the team!"

Stefani Rabideaux is a self-taught artist based in Orlando, FL. She has been passionate about drawing since she was a child and began painting at the age of 18. Stefani creates gothic illustrations combining elements of Art Deco and melancholia, summoning powerful women in dark times. She threads her love of music, vampires, Art Deco, classic pinups, and a touch of Japanese pop culture into her paintings. Her ethereal character designs come alive through contrasting blacks and whites with pops of red using mixed media, graphite pencil, water-soluble graphite, ink pen, and rich gouache.

Stefani earned a Congress Award for her art at an early age. Her work has been displayed in galleries around the world. She has had three solo shows at Stranger Factory Gallery in New Mexico. Her work has been featured in Beautiful Bizarre. She has also created paintings for Disney's Wonderground Gallery at Disney World and Disneyland.

While pursuing art, Stefani found a love for teaching art to preschoolers, eventually becoming an art director, where she had the opportunity to build, paint, and design an art studio/gallery. Once completed, she finally decided to commit to her dream as a full-time artist, where she works from her home studio and travels nationally for art shows. Outside of painting, her passions include indulging in tea, yoga, singing, and practicing a variety of her instruments at home with her husband, Creeptoons, and their corgi, Lola.
