Trekell’s Primed Hardboard – Traditional Profile – 7/8" Panels are made from prime Hardboard. Supported by a durable basswood cradle measuring 7/8”-deep, this art panel has an aesthetically-appealing structural guard against warping. The panel’s front is sealed with Golden GAC100. It is then primed with four coats of gesso. Acrylic users, it doesn’t get any easier than this. And with these materials, it doesn’t get any nicer, either. Good, sturdy, workhorse panels
Great surface for palette knife paintings. Not too heavy to use en plein air if you have the space to pack. 7/8” profile is a good depth for a portable cradled panel.
