Trekell Mop Brushes

Our Mop Brush is designed for artists who want soft, controlled washes and seamless blends across a variety of mediums.

The bristles are ultra soft with very little snap, allowing paint and water to flow effortlessly across the surface without disturbing delicate paper or creating harsh edges. This makes it ideal for watercolor, but it also performs beautifully with acrylic, oil, and other fluid applications where smooth transitions and soft effects matter.

The filaments are highly absorbent, holding a generous amount of liquid so you can create even washes and blend color with minimal effort.

Each brush is made with our Thermyx™ filament. When these brushes are made, the bristles are shaped and heat set into their form, creating a built in memory that helps the brush maintain its shape over time.

If the bristles begin to lose their form, a quick dip in simmering water can help bring them back closer to their original shape. For best results, reshape the bristles while warm and allow them to dry in place. Using Trekell Brush Restorer at this stage will help the bristles dry more firmly and hold their shape longer.

The short handle provides excellent control and comfort, making it easy to move between large washes and more controlled applications.
