Trekell Unprimed Round Wood Panels provide a smooth, rigid Baltic Birch surface in a classic circle shape, giving artists an alternative to traditional rectangular painting surfaces.

This 30" round panel is made from premium 1/2" B/BB Grade Baltic Birch and pre-sanded with 180-grit sandpaper for a smooth, consistent surface. The wood is left completely unprimed so you can prepare it specifically for your preferred medium and technique.

With proper preparation, this versatile panel can be used with oil, acrylic, watercolor, gouache, encaustic, ink, charcoal, pastel, pencil, enamel, pyrography, and mixed media. A CNC-routed keyhole on the back allows the finished artwork to hang directly on the wall without a frame.

Preparing Your Panel

This panel arrives unprimed and should be prepared for your chosen medium before painting. Oil and acrylic artists can seal and prime the wood with their preferred ground, while watercolor artists should apply watercolor ground or mount watercolor paper to the surface.

For pyrography or techniques where you want the natural Baltic Birch exposed, additional preparation may not be necessary.
