Trekell Paint & Palette Knives

Trekell Paint & Palette Knives are versatile studio tools for mixing color, applying paint, building texture, scraping, spreading, and creating expressive marks directly on your painting surface.
Each knife features a flexible stainless steel blade paired with a comfortable 4 1/2" rubber handle with the Trekell logo. The blades offer a balance of flexibility and control, whether you're mixing color on the palette, spreading larger areas of paint, pulling thin lines, creating defined edges, or building layers of texture.
Choose from six blade shapes, each designed to give you a different combination of surface area, edges, angles, and control. Use them with oils, acrylics, mediums, and other compatible artist materials.

Choose Your Shape
- Style 4 Thin Teardrop: A narrow teardrop for thin lines, smaller dabs, controlled paint application, and working in tighter areas.
- Style 5 Wide Teardrop: A broader teardrop with more surface area for spreading paint, larger dabs, broader strokes, and heavier applications.
- Style 6 Rounded Teardrop: The middle ground between the Thin and Wide Teardrops, offering a versatile shape for lines, dabs, spreading, layering, and general palette knife work.
- Style 46 Diamond: A pointed, four-edged blade for thin lines, defined edges, precise marks, scraping, and controlled texture.
- Style 106 Multi-Angled: A larger blade with five differently sized working edges for broad sweeps, angled marks, scraping, spreading, and varied texture.
- Style 132 Long Spatula: A 4" long blade for sweeping and spreading paint across larger areas, pulling extended strokes, smoothing, and creating larger dabs.
Which Palette Knife Should You Choose?
For smaller paintings and controlled marks, start with the Thin Teardrop or Diamond. For an all-around painting knife, the Rounded Teardrop offers a balance between narrow and broad applications. Choose the Wide Teardrop when you want to move more paint, the Multi-Angled when you want several working edges in one knife, or the Long Spatula for longer strokes and larger areas.
Want the full range? The Trekell Paint & Palette Knife Complete Set includes all six shapes so you can switch knives as your painting develops.
Care
Wipe your palette knife clean promptly after use. Avoid allowing paint or mediums to dry on the blade, particularly around the base where the blade meets the handle.
