Meet This Year's Judge: Alai Ganuza
We’re thrilled to welcome Alai Ganuza as the judge for our 7th Annual Art Competition! A rising force in contemporary oil painting, Alai’s work celebrates color, emotion, and everyday beauty. Alai moved beyond photorealism and found a unique style. Her art features bold brushwork and celebrates everyday life. Working primarily with oil on wood, paper, and canvas, their expressive pieces convey joy, warmth, and authenticity.
Alai has over 630,000 followers on social media and in the art community. They use this platform to educate, inspire, and uplift other creatives. Their artistic journey is a testament to persistence, experimentation, and the power of showing up, even through life’s challenges. “I think there's no 'only one possible or right way' to do this. Eligibility and Winning Limitation:
● Each individual can win only once in the competition.
● No limit on the number of panels that can be purchased and entered.
Nature of the Competition:
● A juried competition, with prizes awarded based on skill and creativity.
● It is not a random lottery; winners are chosen based on merit.
Entry Requirement:
● Your entry is confirmed upon purchasing an official 2025 Trekell Pet Portrait Panel.
● Entries must be created on the official 2025 panel to be eligible.
● Submissions must be JPEG. Please keep submissions under 2 megabytes in size.
Submission Deadline:
● All entries must be received by August 31st, 2025, 11:59 PM PST.
● Late entries will not be considered.
