"I’m a long time fan of Trekell because they make high quality, reliable, and reasonably priced products. There’s nothing else I can really ask for when it comes to good art materials. As someone who paints daily, I need to know that my materials are going to perform well every time, and can endure the rigors of my artistic practice. Cheap brushes that fray and fall apart after a few uses can only get you so far. Investing in Trekell products means I'm never questioning the quality of my tools, or fighting against them to do my work. I’m thrilled to be a member of the Pro Team and represent Trekell, because I already use their products in my own practice and can easily recommend them."

Taylor Schultek was born in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1990. He began his art career young, doing graphic design for local punk bands and simultaneously painting graffiti, which still influences his work today.

Through the Minneapolis graffiti community he found exhibition opportunities and was introduced to the gallery side of the art world. He later went on to earn his BFA degree in drawing from Minnesota State University Moorhead and his MFA in painting and anatomy from the New York Academy of Art in 2016. Afterwards, he gained primary representation with Gallery Poulsen in Denmark, and now regularly exhibits his work internationally and at major art fairs.

His works have been featured in numerous publications including Hi-Fructose, Juxtapoz, and the cover of American Art Collector. He currently resides in Brooklyn, NY, which often serves as the subject matter or setting in his paintings.
