United StatesLove my Taklon
First I just ordered two of the golden Taklon brushes once I tried them I loved them. I now have 6 in my collection and look forward to adding more. They hold their shape beautifully and have just the right snap. I also love the price point...even at such a reasonable price they feel like my pricier brushes. I also teach and suggest them to my students. I’m a true fan....
I'm a Trekell brush Fan now!
I love these brushes for my oil work. They keep their shape and the flats have a good bend. I prefer short flats and they are holding up well with no splaying so far. I will be getting some Golden Talon rounds the next time. Super fast delivery and awesome pricing.

So far every brush that I have bought for Trekell has been excellent. I tried the Golden Talon 2500 series size 8 for the first time, it brought absolute enjoyment. I kept saying, even if this painting turns out bad, there is so much fun and ease using this brush, I was left invigorated. Painting was in oil realistic/impressionistic style. If you have a gentle and expressive touch this is for you.

Trekell makes some of the best synthetic brushes on the market. The Golden Taklons are very precise, take a great point, and are great for painting fine details with fluid paint (for precise handling with stiffer paint, the Legion brushes are better). I also like that even the smaller sized brushes have substantial handles. I've never understood why brush makers scale down the handle diameter so much for smaller sizes. I mean, my HAND is still the same size. You won't find any spaghetti-strand handles here, though--even the 0-size handles are relatively beefy. These brushes are cheap enough that you can easily afford to replace them when they wear out, but they are also quite durable, so you won't need to replace them as often as you might think. Highly recommended.
Loving this brush!
I love this brush so much, the only thing is I wish it came in a 6 inch Handel , I ended up cutting mine down to make it more comfortable for me to use, but as far as the actual brush goes it is absolutely amazing, one of my go to brushes since I bought it!
Golden Taklon Long Filbert
I bought the Golden Taklon Long Filbert in size 6 and 10 and was exceptionally happy with the way they moved paint around (watercolor in my case). I do wish the Long Filbert was an option for the 6-inch handle as the 10-inch handle is excessive for my needs, but the brush quality is more than enough to make up for the inconvenience.
