Designed in collaboration with Trekell Pro Team artist The Obanoth, this 3-piece brush set features the Golden Taklon Flat brushes she reaches for in her own acrylic painting practice.

Known for her bold, layered acrylic work, The Obanoth uses Flat brushes to move quickly across the surface while maintaining control over shape, texture, and edges. The #10 and #12 Flats allow her to block in color, establish forms, and build larger areas efficiently, while the #4 gives her greater control for refining edges, defining structure, and adding intentional finishing marks.

Trekell Golden Taklon brushes feature a blend of varying filament diameters with carefully tapered tips designed to more closely mimic the performance of natural brush hair. Unlike lower-quality synthetic brushes made with uniform, blunt-cut filaments, this construction provides better paint pickup, smoother paint flow, responsive snap, and greater control.

Built to Last

Each brush is made with Trekell's Thermyx™ filament. During manufacturing, the bristles are heat-set to create built-in shape memory that helps the brushes maintain their edges, snap, and performance over time.

If the bristles begin to lose their shape, dip them in simmering water for a few seconds to help restore them closer to their original form. Reshape the bristles while warm and allow them to dry in place.

For even longer-lasting performance, apply Trekell Brush Restorer while the bristles dry to help them hold their shape between painting sessions.
