Trekell Victorian Keyhole Panel provides a distinctive keyhole-shaped Baltic Birch surface inspired by ornate Victorian design, giving artists an alternative to traditional rectangular painting panels.

Made from premium 1/2" B/BB Grade Baltic Birch, this solid wood panel provides a smooth, rigid surface without the flex of stretched canvas. The 8.5" x 12" Victorian keyhole shape lends itself especially well to gothic, Halloween, dark art, surreal, architectural, and mystical compositions while giving artists plenty of room to interpret the shape in their own style.

The surface is left completely unprimed, allowing you to prepare it specifically for your preferred medium and technique. Preparing Your Panel

This panel arrives unprimed so you can prepare the surface for your preferred medium. Oil and acrylic artists can seal and prime the Baltic Birch with their preferred ground, while watercolor artists should apply watercolor ground or mount watercolor paper to the painting surface.

For pyrography or techniques where you want to work directly on the natural Baltic Birch, a painting ground may not be necessary.
