Hey, all you cool cats and kittens! It’s time for another Trekell Juried Pet Portrait Competition. The 1st Annual competition was held last year in 2019 and was a smashing success, so we’ve decided to do it again.
Your entry fee is your purchase of an official 2020 Trekell Pet Portrait Panel.
This year’s panel is a completely different shape than last year! First place in the Advanced category wins a $1,000 Trekell Gift Certificate! Wow us with your best pet portrait. If that pet happens to be a tiger, well, stay weird, 2020.

What’s new this year? The competition was judged by our pro team artists last year, but this year the companies who donated prizes will be judging. That includes Trekell, Gamblin, General Pencil, Golden, and Savoir Faire.
Acrylic - Seth Golden from Golden Artists Colors will choose his favorite acrylic piece and they will be rewarded with a set of Golden Acrylic Paints, courtesy of Golden, plus a Trekell Acrylic Brush Set.
Drawing/Dry Media - General Pencil will choose their favorite drawing (charcoal, graphite, pastel, colored pencil, etc) and the winner will be rewarded the Complete Charcoal Drawing Collection set courtesy of General Pencil, and some Trekell Hog Bristle Brushes for blending.
Oil - Gamblin will be choosing their favorite oil painting and the winner will receive a Gamblin Prize Package, courtesy of Gamblin, and a Trekell Oil Brush Set.
Watercolor - Pierre and Andrew of Savoir Faire will be choosing their favorite watercolor painting and the winner will receive 12 half pan Sennelier Watercolors, courtesy of Savoir Faire, and a Trekell Watercolor Brush Set.
All Other Media - Trekell Art Supplies will choose their favorite Gouache/Mixed Media entry and the winner will receive a $150 Trekell Gift Certificate.
