Gamblin Oil Painting Ground is not only safe to use, but brings out the best of your oil paints. Due to its “closed” surface, it adheres to oils instead of penetrating them, forming physical (mechanical) and molecular (chemical) bonds, improving paint adhesion and intensifying color saturation.

I am going to standardize on Trekell's oil ground 1/4" Baltic Birch panels for my oil painting needs. The finish is excellent and I like the sturdiness of the 1/4" panels. A great product and I suspect it would not be easy to find a product so nice at a price point even close to these. Well done

I order two kinds of panels from Trekell….OIl prime and regular prime they did no disappoint. The panels preformed well just as hoped :). I also recently order some more of my favorite taklon brushes…love them!
